Founder's Story
Why I Built Lowkey Protection
After years of advocating for my son’s health, the medical system only responded when he attempted to take his life. We spent six months in residential treatment, paid $250,000 out of pocket, and returned home with one piece of advice: Don’t ask if he’s okay—it might make him think he’s not. Oh, and he knows how to call 911.
That wasn’t support. That was survival mode.
I wanted an early warning - something that could let me know when things were off before it became an emergency. A way to stay connected, no matter the distance, that respected stages of life.
That’s why I built Lowkey—so no one has to sit in gut-wrenching uncertainty, wondering if a loved one is slipping and not knowing when to step in.
